OS Sitemap
OS Sitemap is derived from the Ordnance Survey’s National Geographic Database (the source of OS MasterMap) and is the latest and most up to date mapping available. It is used by professionals in the land and property sector and by the general public who require detailed site centred maps for planning permission.
OS Sitemap is updated on the same cycle as OS MasterMap, for which the refresh period is currently every six weeks.
OS Sitemap is the straightforward successor to the Map Return Scheme. Planning maps can be produced on A4 paper or electronically at 3 different scales:
1:500 - sample (100k PDF)
1:1250 - sample (140k PDF)
1:2500 - sample (320k PDF)
In addition to A4 and A3 size maps, OS Sitemap can be produced up to A0 size as paper copy. Format choice, including black and white or colour plots, or raster image and a vector data option (DXF data output).
The Ordnance Survey Mapping and Data Centre system enables you to continue supplying legitimate Ordnance Survey branded products.
